For this first edition of the international BellyFusions Festival, two complementary aspects will be presented : on the one hand, a unique show gathering artists who will teach during the event and on the other hand, two days of workshops representing the diversity of styles..






Each two-hour workshop will allow people to discover or perfect their knowlegde in dance techniques from the common base of Middle Eastern Dance.


Workshops will be taught to an Open Level, Beginner / Intermediate level or Advanced / Professional Level in order to allow Middle Eastern Dance lovers to try Fusions, whatever their knowlegde at the time of the Festival.

For this first BellyFusions Festival, twelve workshops will be held over two days. Furthermore, additional actions such as a temporary photographic exhibition about Bellydance Fusions or a conference about the evolution of Oriental Dance Styles towards these Fusions will be offered.

The show will be a unique occasion to gather all these styles which have Oriental common roots. It will be the highlight of the Festival since it will offer a wide range of styles accessible to professionals as well as a larger audience. This show will contribute to present new trends and experiments and to present Paris as its new centre of creation in Europe.

Artists will be able to perform their latest creations and contribute to promote these new trends which are still underdevelopped in France.







The BellyFusions festival team has received more than seventy applications not only from France but also from Europe (Germany, Belgium, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, and Switzerland), the United States, Canada and Japan.
