Cie AMIRA ART COMPANY
Amira Art Company was founded by Amira in 1998. The compagny is specialized in bellydance and theater plays, using a lot of fusion styles. In the last years they include a gypsy fusion in their choregraphies and it was a big success! They performed in several european festivals such as Bellyfusions, Gypsy Dance Fest in Madrid, Silk Road Dance in Venezia, Nomad Dance Fest In Milan. This year, Amira has studied traditionnal dances in a gypsy village. This experience inspired her new fusion choregraphies.

Cie ALCHEMY DANCE THEATER
Based in New York, Alchemy Dance Theater is a company of artists with diverse movement backgrounds, that draws from traditional and contemporary sources around the world to evolve a new alchemy from these varied forms. Artistic Director Sarah Johansson Locke began her study of Tribal bellydance in 1994 and has been at the forefront of establishing and cultivating the New York Tribal / Fusion scene since 2001. She directs two companies, Alchemy Dance Theater and the Alchemy Tribal Collective and teaches dance and yoga.

HENNETH ANNUN
After the A-level Henneth got a Diploma in medical physiotherapist and fell in love with bellydance. She studied Tribal style and Tribal Fusion with Moria Chappell, Sharon Kihara, Suhaila Salimpour and other well known artists. In 2009 she won the 3rd Contest Bellydancer of the world Duo and Solo. She teaches regular classes and workshops in different cities in Germany. Henneth Annun improves her skills in contemporary fusion bellydance. She is also one of the first members of "The Violet Tribe" and is working as a dance performer, musician and singer.

YVETTE COWLES
Yvette is a senior tutor with JWAAD, the organisation responsible for the UK's most respected Arabic dance teacher training programme. She has taught and performed at many international festivals and prestigious events over the last 15 years, including GOTHLA, Fantasia and the Bellydance Congress. Yvette is a founder member of Johara Dance Company and a soloist in its most recent production, Hoochie Coochie Girls. Known for her dramatic and expressive style, she specialises in theatrical bellydance, blending oriental dance with burlesuqe, clowning, eccentric dance and vintage western dances.

Cie SMOKY EYES
The Smokey Eyes is four dancers coming from different dance backgrounds (gymnastics, ballet, Indian dance, hip-hop and circus). In 2002 the company decided to move on from the stage to the streets to make dance and art accessible to everybody.

LINDA FAORO
FaoroBellyFusion (FBF) style is the logical evolution of my alternative journey in jazz New School. A style based on an academic and rigourous Jazz technique but drawing its originality from a subtile fusion of other various styles of dances (modern, hip hop, afro, bellydance) and in bellydance. Resolutly different, L.F sees herself as an expression of the urban society she lives in, diverse and pluricultural. She is an international choreographer for both entertainment and cultural events, and she also teaches in several professional dance schools.

PATRICIA ALVAREZ
From Spain, Patricia Alvarez offers an elegant, harmonious and expressive dance linked to tradition. She explores the origins of oriental dance confronting them to the power of flamenco and the energy of gypsy dance. Trained with different oriental teachers in Spain and elsewhere. Combining training in raks sharky and arab folklores with the study of Flamenco. Her curiosity and passion for dance has also led her into contact with other styles like contemporary and african dance, whusu, ballet... As a dancer, Patricia has been part of several dance companies and has worked with various musical groups in many international shows and festivals. Now she regularly travels to different European cities where she teaches workshops.

Cie DE NOVA LUCE
Francesca Pedretti is an Italian choreographer and soloist. She was the leader of Les Soeurs Tribales Company for several years. Originality and innovation are Francesca’s marks. She created various combinations for her company which turned out to be the first Italian tribal style company. Her work and contribution to the Tribal Belly Dance style has been spotted and recognized across Europe but also in the US. Francesca was invited by Paulette Rees-Denis (Gypsy Caravan) to teach and perform at the Tribal Quest North West, in Portland. Francesca has taken workshops and classes with and by many talented artists such as Ada Went, Jamila Zaki and Aziza Abdul Ridha, but also Carolina Nericcio (FCBD), Rachel Brice, Geneva Bybee, Darshan, Urban Tribal for tribal fusion style. In October 2009, Francesca created a new vocabulary of movements through “ De Nova Luce – emotional tribal belly dance “ which offers a mix of oriental modern dance, recent tribal fusion and spectacular improvisations. Their work focuses on emotions, imagination and interpretation. Choreographic sequences alternate with improvisations… and Emotions turn into forms and gestures. Within a year she prepared and directed the show CORPOACORPO, along with Nova De Luce presents her work in international festivals in Italy (Milan, Rome, Genoa, Venice, Ancona, Viareggio) and abroad, Spain and France.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Valentina (Unity) emerges as a performer and instructor in the arts of belly dance, hoop dance, fire and burlesque. Her ability to seamlessly combine these dance forms gives her a unique and provocative vision unlike any other.

Cie ACCES A LA DANSE - Mirjam SUTTER
Compagnie d'accès à la danse is a dynamic dance company featuring professional dancers. The company exclusively focuses on presenting and developing fusion forms of oriental dance and modern/contemporary dance. Mirjam Sutter, the choreographer of Compagnie d'accès à la danse, has been involved in classic and oriental dances as well as oriental folklore dance for many years and she has developed a contemporary movement language with narrative influences from the Maghreb and Mashriq. The artistic work of Compagnie d'accès à la danse is not just confined to the development of this movement language, but extends to an engagement with cultural aspects of these regions as they relate to the particular topics explored in dance. Another hallmark of Compagnie d'accès à la danse is its close cooperation with a range of different musicians who are specifically invited to participate in individual creative projects.

Amirah is a Tribal Fusion dance artist with a theatre background. she is known for her expression and dramatic stories. In November 2011, she won the “Tribal Fusion Bellydancer of the world 2010" title in Duisburg and she just got her Suhaila Salimpour Level 1 certification.

RUSHKA DJULL
Ružica Tomic Rushka is one of the pioneers of belly dancing in Croatia.
She graduated Music Academy in Zagreb, Croatia and also studied diferents kinds of dance styles including contempory ballet, oriental dance styles technique and Argentinian tango. She teaches and performs on dance festivals in Croatia and the countries of Ex Yugoslavia.

Cie URBAN SHAMANS
Urban Shamans: a Tribe looking for their roots, a burried knowledge, as if tatooed in the collective memory. Lead by Julie de Saint Blanquat, they experiment oriental dances fusions as a necessary break from the anciant codes and their bewitching repetitions. A marginal aesthetic. First ATS tribe in France, Urban Shamans developed a style with the influence of tribal-fusion, hip-hop or contemporary to invent a different look, very modern, of the East dances.

ANGELIKA
Those who saw her dance agree : Angelika’s creations don’t match any particuliar classification, and don’t care too much about it either. She goes through a variety of genres following the moment’s fancy. From traditional dances to airy and jazzy compositions, from ice-cold worlds, contemporary exploration to organic and down-to-earth… Being a musician and a dancer, the movement and the sound eternally travelling back and forth is what fascinates and inspires her, and the infinity of the emotional possibilities thus created.

DARKSTAR
Darkstar is one of the UK’s most celebrated performers of Tribal and Dark Fusion belly dance. She has developed her own unique style evolving elements of hip hop, ballet, oriental and ATS which she has encompassed within a darker aesthetic. She has trained intensively with Ariellah, Samantha Emanuel, Asharah, Carolena Nericcio, Mira Betz, and more and is passionate about inspiring students in this intense and captivating dance style. Renowned for her creative choreography and musicality, Darkstar has taught and performed all over Europe.

A dancer, a martial artist, a hula hooper... Even Dew blends the genres to create sometimes amusing, sometimes poignant, but always surprising shows. NICOLE MC LAREN
Nicole McLaren is an international dance artist fr(om Switzerland who performed in Egypt, United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands or South Africa. She is a member a various showgroups, teaches weekly classes, and regulary gives workshops abroad. Beside she is doing Karate, where she achieve with the black belt her Master Degree (1st Dan). She likes many styles the Oriental dance art provides, such as the whirling dance.

KASIA JAROSZ
My personal dance and expression journey takes me all over the place. You can call it Fusion Bellydance ; I prefer to just dance. Kasia began her dance training at 4 years after leaving her hometown of Krakow, Poland, in Zaria, north-central Nigeria. After studying African dance, she moved to the United States and discovered many disciplines including dance contemporaie, martial arts and gymnastics. Oriental dance is a place in his life from 2001. Now based in Italy, she participated in the show Bellydance Evolution while developing his method of teaching.
